I ran my second half marathon yesterday. I really shouldn't wait a year between each one. I need to stay half ready. I want the day when it's easy to run 13.1 miles!
I chose Detroit because of the experience and the medal. Who wouldn't want to run over the Ambassador Bridge into Canada at sunrise?! Oh did I mention the World's only underwater mile?! And don't get this bling whore started on that medal!! The race is beautiful and I'm doing it again next year. Great friends and an awesome sense of accomplishment today!
